Rubbish, Mud and plastic spreading all over the school, Tiny little ants crawling through the windows, drinking taps filled with piles and piles of rubbish polluting the air, What went wrong with the world, Pollution is a common thing on planet earth, we hear and read a lot about it, we even see it everywhere we go. But we never seem to care at all, as time goes by pollution gets bigger & bigger as we know, “but who cares it's not my rubbish”, well watch out cause even if it's not yours not picking it up is a harmful choice, “why & how?”, well for instance 4.6 million people die from substances that are added in the environment and who knows right now there's a continuing number of people who are dying from it. There are five types of pollution you should know spread all over the environment even the WORLD, number one water pollution, number two air pollution, number three noise pollution (which somehow is a “thing”), number four soil pollution and lastly thermal pollution. “Wow I never”. Anyways on December 12 2018 a girl named Greta Thunberg made an emotional speech about pollution for the whole world to hear (especially for parents not the children just joking, you too kids). In her speech it says “We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth how dare you!” plus “'You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words” which to think about it she's right about everything parents should start caring more about the community instead of “money & fairy tales” and start thinking about children's dreams and childhood’s. If we focused more on the main point these things wouldn’t happen and all these people who are in pain don’t need to worry, but for now we’ll see what the world well surprises us with...that is if our planet survives with all these trouble’s happening.

Endangered animals, If pollution didn’t change your mind about our cleanliness, children's dream & childhood’s maybe endangered animals will. Over time lots of animals have been Endangered beginning from grizzly bears all the way to koalas which is a lot if you do the maths, anyways you're probably wondering “what a Endangered animal is ” and then your probably not, Well an endangered species is a species (a population) of animals, plants and organisms that are in danger from becoming extinct sooner or later, This happens because there’s little amounts of animals, There predator (The creature who eats it) may grow in numbers and kill or it may be because the climate that the specie lives in has changed, or mostly cause its home is destroyed. “What's the point?”, Well if we start thinking about it more carefully, animals are kinda like us but smarter the things killing them are us. Mind blowing right? . They sleep, eat and protect loved ones. “So how are we the ones killing them”, easy not taking care of ourselves, The actions you do make a huge change to everything, it could be just throwing a piece of plastic on the ground making the wind make it flow into the oceans killing Turtles (which are also extinct animals) or anything in the ocean you never know. Many cultures all over the globe have laws to protect these animals. If obeyed then those species would be saved by stopping hunting, land development or marking parks and reserves. Poaching illegal activities, however, can still destroy them. Lastly if you didn’t know more than Billions of animals die each year which is crazy. To think of cause we're always surrounded by them (will not really), Anyways the more we watch our actions the more animals we’ll have in the future. For now the surprises may have to wait a little.

Tech writing

Today in the afternoon the year sevens got to go to tech when we go to tech the first thing we do is watch PENN after we watch PENN all the year 8 go eat lunch except for seven's because while we are watching PENN we get to eat lunch but after eating a lunch away . Will the year 8 eating their lunch the teacher's tell us what we should be doing when we get to tech at Tamaki College, she tells all of us which were goes first when she our group we all have to line up in this big line and walk all the way to tech when we get to tech sit in lines but today was different from other days today each group got a piece of paper when we got our paper we have to line up in this big wave in the front of the line people have to go and take their picture so that they could get their picture taken after we had finished taking all the pictures we would sit back into a tech when we were all finished with our pictures we sat back and I will tech groups I will teach . Our teacher would come and take us to our room other group was called the robotics in that group we learnt about what jobs robots would robots take over jobs we could still have what type of robot we would like to make . It very simple for my group but when I will classes I finished for the day we go back aside from where we started and we walk all the way back to PT England school when we walk to school we always talk to each other but when we get back to school we just do our work and that's all we do at tech but it is fun you should go there .

After dancing to the ukulele we saw this other school that was dancing with us they were wearing a blue t-shirt with black pants ,  it was fun dancing to The Ukulele and following the girls dance moves because we got to learn a new song and a new dance from different cultures . After learning the dance we went to the next activity which was jumping Ropes and this other game that I forgot the name of . The first game we played on that round was jumping ropes the first thing we had to do was get in a group of three it was simple because because I had too of my friends in pod 4.So when everyone was in a group of the lady told us instructions of how to play the first rule was to try to get up to 60 jumps each member in the group had to jump 10 times.When we were finished jumping 10 times the other member would get a job after everyone had jump 10 times they would put their hands up and shout-out done so when everyone got ready to do the challenge we got started we were jumping and jumping and jumping each member in my group how to turn but sadly we were the first one's to finish . After we had finished the Jump Rope game we we went to the other game in this game we had to work as a team he had this bored they had to stand on but it was only enough for one to stand on some of us to get to stand on a bored because there were too much people in our group so unfortunately something go after playing the Jump Rope game and the other games I forgot the name of we went to the next rotation.The next rotation was at the top of these stairs it was a long way up but when we finally we got there which was about 40 seconds I think we sit down the man told us about what we were going to do he told us that in this game we have to guess which country was which we all got this piece of paper that had a picture of the Island. It also had the flags of the island the man told us that we had to guess which flagged belong to that Island the other rule was that we had to get in a group of 6 but we didn't have enough people to be in groups of 6 so some of us had to be in groups of 4 or 3 luckily me and my friends were in a group of 3 , after we all got in groups we got ready to start when the man said go we all rushed trying to figure out which flag belongs to the island we all had 10 minutes when the timer ran out of time and man told us to stop you walked by each group checking which one had most points we had some right and all wrong but at least we tried.

Poly Fest part one recount

Poly Fest

On Wednesday morning at 9.30am all the year 7 & 8s and parent helpers want to poly fest , the first thing we did in the morning was our team assembly after the team assembly we got really to go in our poly fest lines our poly fest groups were called , pod 1 , pod 2 , pod 3 and pod 4 . When we all got in our groups we started walking to our buses each group had a bus to go on after we arrived we saw lots of school arriving too . our school and other schools started to line up in this big line full of kids and teachers , when we got in front of the line the people there give as wristbands the wristbands were coloured blue and had the Poly fest logo . after we all got our wristbands we walked in our lines up to the poly fest stage every single school there were sitting on the floor there was this lady in front of the stage how welcomed each school there she told as about what we were going to do and people there . then when the lady finished telling as about poly fest and how were we were going to met at poly fest , we want in different groups doing activities the first thing our pod - ( pod 4 my pod ) - did was the hula we learnt a cook island Dance.

yesterday morning

me & my mom want to the mall picking out thing's i wanted for Xmas i got to sent 50 $ on thing's  which was really exciting because i got to get everything i wanted but the hard thing was when i want over the money i had so i had to take away some just so it was good .

when we got back it started raining really hard we had to park a little bit far from our house my mom said to go knock on the door because my grandma was inside we couldn't open it by the key's cause it was lost we ran to the house as fast as we could and putted the shopping on the chair for me i got to play in the rain  that was really fun to and that all i did yesterday .

Going to camp

Kia ora my name is Tia and today I am writing about year 5 & 6 camp and all the fun Activities we got to do.  At year 5 & 6 camp my team and other teams did a lot of camp activities like kayaking, youth town, killer zone, get lost and the dance concert. My favourite Thing at camp was Kayaking because some time it was funny falling down from the kayak I got really Wet when the water splash in my face. When i fall off the kayak it flip over and landed on my head. Thank you Mrs Buchanan and Miss West and all the Teachers for everything . Thank you helpers for helping the year 5 and 6 camp. i enjoy going to camp and having lots of fun.
